  63. Amazingly Theodore Roosevelt watched his mother die of Typhoid fever on Feb. 14, 1884 and immediately went upstairs to see his wife die of complications from child birth within a time of one hour.
  64. On New Year’s Day, 1907, amazingly President Theodore Roosevelt shook hands with 8,513 people.
  65. After his presidency, Theodore Roosevelt went on a safari in Africa in 1909. He and his team killed or captured 11,397 different animals, including elephants, hippos, and even insects.
